EdTech Forum

Representing the 18 USC schools and related units, the EdTech Forum serves as a campus-wide knowledge sharing group and collaborative forum that focuses on the infrastructure needed to support technology-enhanced learning and distance learning at USC.
Since its inception in summer 2007, the EdTech Forum (formerly TEL Technical Circle) has been actively involved in the planning, implementation and assessment of enterprise-level learning technologies. The group has been the driving force for projects such as the successful campus-wide implementation of studio classrooms and the standardized Mediasite lecture capture system.
Each monthly meeting is organized around a specific topic of campus-wide interest or urgency. In the past, these topics have included classroom capture and collaboration technologies, transactions systems for related e-commerce activity, technology standards and processes, identity management, and a range of distance-learning initiatives and technologies ranging from synchronous sharing and presentation tools to new classroom projection and control systems. Please visit our events archive for more information and to view the previously recorded sessions online.
